TEAM
Richard Spies
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Spies joined Lucid IQ. in June, 2000, as a business veteran with diverse executive experience in the finance, securities and real estate arenas. He has held executive positions in both major corporations and small businesses and has served to shape the unique combination of sophistication and responsiveness that are hallmarks of Lucid IQ. Having owned his own securities and real estate businesses, he knows how critical client service and responsiveness can be. As regional VP over asset portfolios at NCNB (now Bank of America) and as the Finance Manager of the multi-billion dollar Goldman-Sachs/JER real estate securities venture; systemization of management, integration of systems and organization of information were keys to success. Under the guidance of Mr. Spies, Lucid IQ introduced the CaseManagerpro system to the legal market in 2000 since then it has broken many traditional CMS boundaries. Lucid IQ software has been web-based from its genesis with a scalable capacity proven to handle hundreds of thousands of cases, developed to open standards for systems integration, object oriented for ease of updating and customization, engineered with security for 24/7 controlled access with the ability to share information directly with law firm clients and co-counsel. Lucid IQ has also created the first sustained Application Service Provider delivery system in the industry.

Kevin oversees research, development, custom program development, and other technical operations. He has been deeply involved in legal case management since he co-founded Lucid IQ in 1999.
